Laois footballers to be honoured

Laois football will enjoy a night of fanfare at the Montague Hotel tonight when the medals for the victorious senior and minor county teams are distributed.

The seniors captured the Leinster title while the minors went a step further and actually won the All-Ireland title, beating neighbours Dublin in the final.

Players have been given a limited number of tickets as demand has been huge for the event which is set to attract more than 500 on the night.
