Experienced Louth midfielder Seamus O'Hanlon has quit inter-county football having represented the Wee County through three decades.

Experienced Louth midfielder Seamus O'Hanlon has quit inter-county football having represented the Wee County through three decades.

O'Hanlon's last game for Louth was the ill fated Croke Park clash with Dublin in this year's Leinster championship when he was sent off for a foul on Ciaran Whelan.

The 35-year-old has spent more than half his life as a Louth county regular having debuted as a plucky 17-year old way back in 1985.
