Cregan teams up with Meath hurlers
Former Limerick boss Eamon Cregan has agreed to help out in a coaching role with the Meath hurlers following the appointment of manager John Hunt.
Michael Duignan resigned his position weeks back but the future now looks bright with Hunt and Cregan on board.
Hunt said: "It’s a tremendous boost to have secured the services of such a knowledgeable and highly-respected coach as Eamon. His influence and guidance should certainly bring out the best in the players."
Eamon Cregan brought the Liam McCarthy Cup to Offaly in 1996, defeating his native Limerick in the final.
