Meath manager Martin Ennis and his backroom staff have issued a blistering response to dual star James Toher’s claims about his removal from the county’s senior hurling panel.

The Meath hurling panel have revealed their frustration with the current management team and submitted a letter of dissatisfaction to the county board.

Former Limerick boss Eamon Cregan has agreed to help out in a coaching role with the Meath hurlers following the appointment of manager John Hunt.
