Lyon weary of McDonnell's threat
Australia manager Garry Lyon fears that Steven McDonnell will cause his side serious problems during tomorrow's International Rules decider in Melbourne.
McDonnell was Ireland's hero in the opening test with 16 points in the 56-46 defeat and Lyon believes the Armagh forward is Ireland's best hope of reeling in the margin.
Lyon said: "Steven McDonnell impressed me in particular. Matthew Scarlett, our all-Australian full back this year, played on him. He made Matthew look very ordinary. I thought McDonnell was sensational.”
