Prodigal son Collins to return to Cavan

Cavan's Nicholas Walsh, who has been playing Australian Rules football with Melbourne Demons for the past three years, will return home to play football next month.

The Cavan Gaels man has been told by his AFL club that a long term injury may be best served by returning home and that he could yet return to play a big part with the Demons.

Walsh said: "I want to get back to Cavan and try to get into the senior team. It's been bloody frustrating, a tough year."
