Tompkins tipped for Tipp

Former Cork boss Larry Tompkins has been linked with a rapid return to inter-county management and the Tipperary football hotseat following Tom McGlinchey's departure.

Tompkins stepped down as Cork boss last month after seven years in charge and said he would not expect to rush back into county management.
