Laois praise council for fixture change

Laois GAA chiefs have thanked the Leinster Council for allowing them an extra week to run off their county football championship in time for the provinical series.

The inclusion of Laois players Joe Higgins and Tom Kelly in the International Rules squad has thrown a spanner in the works but a new date of November 15 for the final has been set.
