New Louth boss welcomes veterans' return

New Louth football boss Val Andrews has opened the door to a number of former county stars to slot back into the Wee County first team.

The former Cavan and Tralee IT boss wants to wipe the slate clean with players like Christy Grimes and Niall Sharkey who were often left out by Paddy Carr.

Andrews said: “Everybody is welcome to come in. Where they’re from, who they play for, reputations, or what they may or may not have done in the past is of no interest to me."
