Daly rules himself out of Clare job

All-Ireland winning Clare skipper Anthony Daly has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant manager's position following Cyril Lyons' departure.

Daly captained the Banner to All-Ireland wins in 1995 and 1997 but admits taking over in the hot seat is not a 'realistic option' at this stage.

Daly said: "I have three young kids, a sports shop in Ennis, running a pub out the road, it’s just not on. I’d love to have a go at it sometime, but it’s just not a runner at the moment, I don’t have the time.”
