Ó hAilpín and Gardiner fit for selection
Setanta Ó hAilpín and John Gardiner are fit for selection by Cork’s senior hurling management team after coming through the Munster U21 final unscathed.
A clean bill of health has been reported from the Cork camp ahead of next Sunday’s All-Ireland semi-final with Wexford.
It’s expected the 15 who began against Clare and Waterford in the Munster championship will be given the nod for the semi-final clash.
Tom Kenny is expected to be fully recovered from damaged shoulder ligaments sustained in a club football game and Niall McCarthy is also ready for the fray.
His broken finger is fully mended and he will take his place once more on the forty.
The Cork team will be announced after training at Pairc Ui Chaoimh tonight.
