Gildea insists Donegal have yet to be tested

Experienced Donegal midfielder John Gildea believes the Tir Chonaill men have yet to be tested despite finding themselves just 70 minutes away from an All-Ireland quarter-final berth.

Donegal have bounced back from their early defeat to Fermanagh and breezed past Longford, Sligo and Tipperary, but Gildea expects the bar to raise a notch against Down on Saturday night.

He said: "We played reasonably well against Sligo and against Tipperary things went pretty well for us, but we haven't been tested as such yet. All due respect to those sides they probably weren't going the best themselves."
