Decies must decide McCarthy's future
The continuing reign of Waterford boss Justin McCarthy will be under consideration following their crushing championship losses to Cork and near neighbours Wexford.
McCarthy has not yet indicated whether he'll stay on and county board secretary Seamus Grant insisted there will be no rush to ratify the Corkman for another term anyway.
Grant said: "We won't be in competitive action again until the spring so there's no urgency about considering the position of manager or selectors. The worst thing now would be a knee-jerk reaction to the defeat."
