O'Meara to make Tipp qualifier

Tipperary skipper Brian O'Meara is likely to be fit for the Premier's second-round qualifier clash next month.

The Mullinahone man suffered a knock to his ankle in Tipp's defeat of Laois last weekend and was an immediate worry.

But X-rays confirmed he'll be okay though boss Michael Doyle is still without John Leahy, Paul Ormonde, Philly Maher and Eamon Corcoran.
