Mossy McGrane pointed six frees and one point from play to square matters at Croke Park, following a bright start by Offaly, through two Barry Whelehan points, in a poor first-half.

A number of Offaly wides have given the low Dublin attendance some hope, whilst a massive Michael Carton point from the halfway line on 34 minutes saw matters levelled for the third time.
