Louth football rocked by player defection

Louth football stars Christy Grimes and David Reilly have dropped a bombshell on the county by opting out of midweek training.

It is believed that the pair, who both came on as subs in their heavy defeat to Dublin last weekend, are disappointed with team selection.

Louth sources have confirmed that the pair didn't turn up for training and it remains to be seen if they'll make the panel for the Louth clash on Sunday.
