Corcoran appeal ruled out of order

The GAA has confirmed that Tipperary's appeal of Eamonn Corcoran's 12-week suspension has been ruled out of order.

Corcoran was handed down the sentence by the GAC last Wednesday after clashing with Galway's Kenneth Burke and his county board immediately opted to appeal.

However, the appeal was out of order and according to the GAA: "The Tipperary County Committee has been informed of the reasons for this decision".
