Farragher quits Galway hurling panel

Influential youngster Ger Farragher has quit the Galway hurling panel citing a lack of match action as his reason.

Former minor star Farragher joins Damien Howe and Fergus Flynn in leaving Conor Hayes' senior set-up.

As regards a return of veteran forward Joe Rabbitte Hayes said: "We have not seen him play full-time with his club yet and so don¹t know if he is ready to come back into this level."
