Dublin defeat Derry with ease
Dublin 6-19 Derry 3-11
Dublin toured to a comfortable win over Derry at Celtic Park before 100 spectators on a 6-19 to 3-11 scoreline.
Dublin scored three goals in the opening quarter through Stephen Hiney, Stephen McDonnell and Kevin Flynn before Ollie Collins lashed over a free in the 17th minute as Dublin raced to a 3-10 to 1-05 interval lead.
On the restart, Raymond Kennedy goaled for Derry while Stephen McDonnell, Keith Horgan and Michael Carton scored three more goals before Raymond Kennedy scored Derry's third goal near the end. Defeated Derry now look set for Div 2 hurling next season.
