Laois star Cuddy breaks finger in win

Laois boss Paudie Butler has confirmed that star midfielder David Cuddy broke a finger in Sunday's NHL Div 1A win over Dublin.

Cuddy scored two points before being substituted after 24 minutes by Enda Maher and Butler revealed:

"David broke a finger but these are the things you get thrown at you week in week out and you just have to deal with them."

The Castletown ace is now likely to miss out on Saturday's crunch clash with Galway.
