Lyons leaves the door open for Curran return

Dublin football boss Tommy Lyons has left the door open for former Footballer of the Year Paul Curran to play a part this year.

Curran, 34, officially quit the Blues panel yesterday citing the massive workload involved as the reason behind his decision.

But Lyons said: "He's (Curran) a man who would do anything for his county and if I give him a ring I have no doubt he'll do whatever he can to help."
