Hiqa finds 'regular illicit substance use' by children at Tusla centre in southwest

Children were found to be engaging in “regular illicit substance use” at a Tusla residential centre in the southwest of the country, it has emerged.

The Health Information and Quality Authority (Hiqa) conducted an unannounced inspection of the unnamed children’s residential centre in February.
