Shefflin ruled out of Galway clash

Henry Shefflin will join DJ Carey on the sidelines for Kilkenny's National Hurling League game against Galway this weekend after being ruled out of the tie through a combination of flu and a knee injury.

Kilkenny's selectors have drafted Noel Hickey into the team at full-back, with captain Charlie Carter lining out at left corner-forward.

Cork, meanwhile, have named Pat Mulcahy at full-back for their game against Wexford in place of Diarmuid O'Sullivan, with Gerry O'Connor and Brian Murphy also named in the Leesiders starting 15.
