Fitzgerald to decide on future in coming weeks

Former Footballer of the Year Maurice Fitzgerald will take two weeks to decide whether or not to return to the Kerry inter-county fold.

Contrary to rumours Fitzgerald will not train this week with Paidi O Se's side but he will consider a return which would boost the county's stock.

A source close to the St Mary's man said: "He's in the best condition he's been in for years. He's really flying and I'd love to see him back, because he's ready for it."
