Gildea warns he may quit game

John Gildea has threatened to quit the Donegal team - the second threat he has issued in just a few months.

Midfielder Gildea, 32, announced his retirement last year but returned for the NFL campaign this month following a rethink.

However a niggling knee injury is threatening to undo all his plans and he said: "I've had three operations on the knee and I don't want to end up a crock. I've got to think of my future and it looks like the end of the road for me."
