Gildea could be sidelined for a year

Donegal star midfielder John Gildea could be out for the next 12 months because of injury. Gildea was only released from Letterkenny General Hospital days before the new year with a painful fractured leg.

Gildea, 31, was a star in midfield alongside fellow veteran Jimmy McGuiness. But new boss Brian McEniff will now have to devise a new duo.
