Tyrone chiefs praise former management duo

Tyrone chiefs took the opportunity of the county convention to praise managerial duo Art McRory and Eugene McKenna for their sterling service.

The senior management partnership was disbanded months back when McRory fell ill and McKenna was forced to seek re-election on his own, unsuccessfully.

County secretary Dominic McCaughey said: "I sincerely congratulate Art on the many successes which he achieved in the past 30 years.

"Our gratitude is also extended to Eugene McKenna on the major contribution which he has made to the successful management of senior county football teams, working alongside Art, over two terms during the past decade."
