Doubts over Tierney's Armagh future
Armagh manager Joe Kernan has confirmed that All-Ireland winning goalkeeper Benny Tierney will act as a coach in the upcoming season, but there are doubts about is future as keeper.
Tierney was dragged out of retirement to inspired the Orchard to a first ever All-Ireland win in September.
But it now looks likely he'll call it a day on the highest of notes.
Kernan said: "We may use Brendan in an emergency situation, but most of his involvement will be as a goalkeeping coach.
"Paul Hearty, who was understudy to Benny, will be one of the keepers, and we will choose another keeper in the New Year."
