Tipp hurlers back in training

The Tipperary senior hurling squad resumed training last night for the 2003 league and championship campaigns.

Under the new management team of Michael Doyle, Liam Sheedy and Kevin Fox, the squad gathered in Dr Morris Park Thurles where they underwent a full scale session under lights.

New additions to the squad include u-21 star Tom King (Loughmore/Castleiney), Richie Flannery (Eire Og Nenagh) and Eddie Carey (Mullinahone).

A number of trial games will be held after Christmas to afford selectors the opportunity to have a look at a number of other inter-county prospects.
