Mattock win Leinster title for first time
Mattock Rangers (Louth) 3-13 Moorefield (Kildare) 2-10
Louth star Mark Brennan led Mattock Rangers to an historic first ever Leinster title with an awe-inspiring display against Moorefield in Navan.
Rangers were great value for the win and become the first Louth side since 1976 to make the provincial final.
They led by a point at the break but stretched that gap to seven points midway through the second half and never looked back with Christy Grimes, David Reid and Brennan all impressing.
A late Moorefield rally shocked Rangers but points from Grimes and Alan Finnegan sealed the win.
