Former Galway and Clare coach Mick McNamara is expected to confirmed as Offaly senior hurling manager tonight.

The Scariff man will be installed as successor to Dr Tom Fogarty when the county board meets this evening.

Fogarty quit the post after Offaly's Championship defeat to Tipperary last July.
