Meath champions Dunshaughlin blitzed Carlow representatives St Mullins in this Leinster SFC quarter-final tie at Dr Cullen Park.

Led by county star Richie Kealy Dunshaughlin absolutely dominated the tie to keep a semi-final reunion with old rivals Rathnew firmly on the cards.

In the Ulster SFC Errigal Ciaran of Tyrone finally defeated Crossmaglen Rangers, at the third time of asking, in Clones.

In their second replay tie Ciaran had a goal to spare as they advanced to face reigning Ulster and Ireland champions Ballinderry on a 1-13 to 1-10 scoreline.
