Trailing by three points at half-time Sixmilebridge of Clare came back to pip Blackrock by a point in this pulsating Munster SHC semi-final tie.

Early goals were traded by both sides with Cyril Crowe netting for Six' and David Cashman hitting Blackrock's after eight minutes.

In fact Cork champions Blackrock looked good value for the win all the way till the break as they held a 1-8 to 1-5 lead.

But a five-Star performance from Clare's recent All-Ireland finalist Niall Gilligan swung the tie in Sixmilebridge's favour.
