GAA sources have confirmed that over 70,000 tickets have already been sold for Sunday's International Rules second test at Croke Park.

Furthermore, officials at Headquarters believe attendance on Sunday may even reach capacity levels of 79,500 as Ireland look to claw back the seven point deficit on Australia.

Both sets of managers, John O'Keeffe and Garry Lyon, expressed delight at the news this afternoon.

Last Sunday's series opener had an attendance of 44,221.
