Ireland will play Scotland in a Hurling/Shinty clash ahead of the International Rules second test at Croke Park on Sunday.

Ireland will play Scotland in a Hurling/Shinty clash ahead of the International Rules second test at Croke Park on Sunday.

The game will act as the curtain-raiser to the Rules game between Ireland and Australia which is tipped to draw in a crowd of more than 45,000.

The earlier game will commence at 1.15pm with hurling stars Philly Larkin (Kilkenny), Brendan Cummins (Tipperary) and Mark Kerins (Galway) all set to play.

An U-21 match will take place in Portlaoise on Saturday at 2pm. It will be followed by the Minor B HC final between Carlow and Meath.
