McIntyre tipped for Tipp job
Former Offaly boss John McIntyre is the firm favourite to succeed Nicky English as Tipperary hurling manager.
Ex-Tipp U-21 boss Michael Doyle is an outsider for the position, with a host of top names including Michael Cleary and Ken Hogan all turning down the job.
McIntyre is the current sports editor of the Midland Tribune and managed Clarinbridge to the All-Ireland club final last year where they were beaten by Birr.
