Talty and Nolan are frontrunners to take over Kildare

Brian Talty and Padriag Nolan have emerged as frontrunners to take over from Mick O'Dwyer as Kildare football boss.

Talty's has been the name on everyone's lips and is believed to be ready to plump for an inter-county position following several years of wooing.

Nolan, however, had a checkered spell with Offaly, but has been pencilled in as a possible choice.

Meath selector Colm Coyle and Offaly's Richie Connor could come into contention too.
