Tadhg Kennelly has been listed in the top 10 AFL rookies of the season Down Under.

Kerryman Kennelly missed out on a dramatic call up to Paidi O Se's All-Ireland final squad but gained consolation with the top 10 placing.

The Sydney Swans player missed out narrowly on the AUD25,000 prize that accompanies the number one rookie award.
