Duignan linked with Offaly post
Michael Duignan has been linked with the manager's post in his native Offaly.
Duignan, who played in the 2000 All-Ireland final against Kilkenny, has been managing Meath for the past year but is rumoured to be about to take over from Fr Tom Fogarty.
He led the Royals past Laois in the preliminary round and his analysis on RTE television makes him a sought-after figure in hurling.
County officials in Offaly had no comment on the matter.
