GAC discusses Quinn injury

The Games Administration Committee convened on Wednesday night to discuss the injury sustained by Clare's Gerry Quinn.

Quinn was left with a serious hand injury after a collision with a Waterford player in the Banner's recent All-Ireland semi-final win at Croke Park.

It is alleged that he was struck on the hand with a hurley and the GAC are seeking to establish exactly what happened.

Quinn didn't attend the meeting though officials from Waterford and Clare did.
