The GAA’s Games Administration Committee has confirmed it is to launch an investigation into an incident during last Guinness Hurling semi-final between Clare and Waterford.

It is alleged than an off-the-ball incident involving Waterford’s Ken McGrath was directly responsible for a broken hand sustained by Clare’s Gerry Quinn.
