Former Dublin manager Tommy Carr is enjoying his stint on the sidelines and won¹t be tempted by managerial offers from either Laois or Kildare.

Carr, Dublin captain in 1992 when Donegal beat them in the All-Ireland final, has been acting as an adviser to Wexford football boss Ger Halligan since being voted out as Blues chief last year.

But despite Colm Browne (Laois) and Mick O'Dwyer (Kildare) both vacating their positions Carr said: "I'm getting to like watching games as an interested spectator and that's the way it'll be staying.

"Management is a whole different ball game now. It's not a road I'd be interested in going down."
