Lyons making speedy recovery
Dublin manager Tommy Lyons is making a speedy recovery from a stomach illness, according to Blues hero Ray Cosgrove.
Lyons missed Dublin's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final draw with Donegal on Monday because of stomach pains.
But Cosgrove, recalled to the squad by Lyons this year after a spell in the wilderness, confirmed: "I was talking to his wife on Tuesday night and he's in good form.
It was difficult without him on Monday but we made a collective effort to go out there and get on with it.
"It¹ll be a great bonus for us if he¹s back for the replay. Hopefully he will be."
Cosgrove also admitted he owed his boss a debt of gratitude adding: "I wouldn¹t be here if it hadn¹t been for Tommy Lyons. He¹s shown great faith in me and I¹m chuffed to be able to repay him on the field."
Lyons may be released from hospital as early as this evening.
