Dublin fans protest on ticket availablility

Two Dublin football fans are spending the whole day today sitting on a couch in the middle of the Stillorgan dual carriageway watching videos of the Dublin team.

Two Dublin football fans are spending the whole day today sitting on a couch in the middle of the Stillorgan dual carriageway watching videos of the Dublin team.

Phil Clarke from Finglas and Derek Yates from Drimnagh are braving the elements in protest at not being able to get tickets for Monday's match.

They have been there since 8am and Phil Clarke has said that they are intent on staying put until Monday evening.

"We're here in protest for one, and we're also here in support cause we're dedicated supporters you see.

"We're standing here on the Stillorgan Road, on the island, we're in protest and in support of the Dubs. And we'll be here until Monday unless someone gives us a pair of tickets to go."
