Kildare squander lead to allow replay

Kildare squandered an eight-point half-time lead to allow Offaly fight back to level terms by the end of this Leinster Senior Football Championship semi-final at Nowlan Park, Kilkenny.

An injury-time equalising point from Offaly sub Vinny Claffey was enough to save the day for the faithful county after they had forced their way back into the match in the second half.

Kildare had dominated the opening 35 minutes but now must do it all again in the replay in Nowlan Park next Saturday.
