Kilkenny to face Wexford in Leinster hurling final
Kilkenny will face Wexford in the Leinster Hurling Final after they ran out comprehensive winners over Offaly at Semple Stadium today.
The highly rated Kilkenny attack were far too strong for an Offaly side who could not quite find the right blend between youth and experience and ran out winners by 2-20 to 1-14.
Despite not fielding their talisman, DJ Carey, the National League Champions proved strong enough to edge out their neighbours.
Two goals against the run of play for the Cats in the first-half effectively ended the contest and gave Brian Cody’s side the win.
