Injury woes delay Louth team announcement
Mick O'Dwyer and his selectors will delay naming their team to face Louth in the Leinster SFC semi final in Navan on Sunday, until tomorrow night.
The delay will allow Martin Lynch (who has an ankle injury) and team captain Antony Rainbow (hamstring) sufficient time to prove their fitness.
Already out of contention is long-serving goalkeeprer Christy Byrne who has been suffering from a thigh muscle injury and ace free taker Padraig Brennan, rated very doubtful with a groin strain.
On the credit side however, is the news that Dermot Earley has rejoined the panel after a protracted absence through illness and is pushing hard for a place in the starting 15.
