GAA: Cregan may return as Limerick manager
Eamon Cregan may be reinstated as Limerick senior hurling manager.
The news follows an emergency meeting of the executive committee of the County Board last night.
Cregan had resigned his post on Tuesday after losing patience with the county's decision to continue using dual players.
Selector Mossie Carroll was appointed his successor on Wednesday, but it now looks as if Cregan could return to the fold following developments yesterday.
Team captain Mark Foley informed the County Board that the players would not turn up for today's training session, and as a result more meetings were arranged yesterday.
