GAA: Carroll takes over as Limerick hurling boss
Mossy Carroll has replaced Eamon Cregan as Limerick hurling manager.
Cregan stood down yesterday in a row over the availability of dual players.
The former Shannonside All-Ireland winner had been reconsidering his decision, but today’s appointment has made Cregan’s move a permanent one.
Limerick players are angry at the appointment and held a meeting last night.
It is understood they want the county board to back down and re-instate Eamon Cregan as manager and Derry O'Donovan as coach.
