GAA: National Football League results
All the results are in from today’s action in the Allianz National Football League. In Division 1A, All-Ireland Champions, Galway scraped past Offaly to maintain their hopes of attaining a play-off spot, the final score at Ballinasloe was Galway 1-13, Offaly 0-15.
Roscommon scored a goal in the dying minutes of the game to finally end a spirited Dublin fight-back at Parnell Park. The Dubs were trailing for most of the second-half before managing to draw level until one of the Lohan brothers managed to hammer home the deciding goal, final score was Dublin 0-16, Roscommon 2-12. Tyrone defeated Westmeath by 2-15 to 2-8 and Donegal proved they were too strong for Cork when they won by 1-12 to 0-09.
In Division 1B, Mayo continued their march towards promotion by defeating Derry by 0-16 to 2-08, Fermanagh beat Sligo by 2-09 to 0-11 and Kildare proved too strong for Down as they won away from home by 1-10 to 1-17. In Division 2A, Leitrim thrashed London by 1-16 to 0-08, Antrim beat Wicklow by 0-13 to 1-08 while Kerry just edged out Armagh by 2-10 to 2-09.
Finally in Division 2B, Tipperary just defeated Longford by 1-12 to 1-11, Carlow beat Waterford 0-12 to 0-11, Wexford lost out to Meath by 1-09 to 2-07 and Monaghan were beaten by Laois by 1-11 to 2-16.
